Koření je nejdražší látkou v celém známém vesmíru, prodlužující život, darující plnou imunitu vůči některým druhům jedů a nemocem a umožňující lidem s predispozicemi vidět budoucnost.
Koření ve hře
Koření bude velice důležitou částí Dune: Awakening, jelikož Arrakis je jediná planeta, na které se nachází. Jakožto takové bude zdrojem bohatství pro hráče a gildy. Zároveň bude upravovat účinky jistých schopností. Konkrétní rozdíly jsou momentálně neznámé. Koření je vysoce návykové a vyžaduje udržovat jistou úroveň v krvi, nebo čelit následkům .
Výbuch koření
Výbuchy koření jsou způsobeny tlakem, který vzniká reakcí předkoření v kontaktu s vodou. Tento tlak způsobí, že předkořeí doslova vybouchne a vyletí vzhůru a po kontaktu se vzduchem vytvoří koření. O výbuchy koření budou bojovat gildy, které zde nasadí sběrače, aby posbírali drahocenné koření.
