The Universal Trade Emporium, or UTE, is a long standing trading guild founded by Idris, with a focus and dedication to free trade. UTE will assist individuals and small/large guilds in supply, industry, and the procurement process for the desired in game products.

Purpose / Ethos

The Universal Trade Emporium (UTE) is a neutral free trade supplier. We want to be a place for PVE focused players to enjoy the game in various ways while providing market services and goods to other guilds and individuals. We will not engage in market manipulation scheming to control other guilds. We will not be blacklisting others unless attacked. We will not join any alliances that take away our ability to be neutral and thus we will not become a political entity vying for control.

Recruitment Process

We will be accepting new applicants, however we will be picky because we are already large membership base. Our footprint is mostly on Gilded and TeamSpeak. However, direct message Idris (josepi3078) on Discord who will be acting as a gateway to our official channels.

Ranks/Hierarchy

The guild is structured with different flexible branches and teams based upon prior game and IRL experience

I. Resources Branch: joinable resource gathering & farming teams with experienced team leaders in survival games: emphasizing team play, communication, and efficiency.

II. Procurement Branch: Teams led by people who have real life experience in the contracting & procurement process: identifying requirements, drafting agreements and contracts, and communicating and negotiating with customers. Some typical products would include industry standard Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreements between UTE and customers, both individuals and guilds.

III. Manufacturing Branch: Joinable manufacturing & crafting teams assigned to specific tasks and Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) orders using our out of game 3rd party automated inventory system.

IV. Trade & Delivery : Joinable trade teams focused on outreach to customers, in game and out of game advertising, and delivery (if necessary) of in game items. Will also include analytics capabilies of market data for those who enjoy spreadsheets :).

Leadership

Idris leads the guild, drawing on experience from our members to include years of gameplay in SWG, Eve Online, and other market economy based games.

Known Allegiances or Rivalries

Neutrality must be preserved by the avoidance of alliances which will only draw us into unnecessary and expensive conflict. You canno We will do business with all and respect all groups regardless of political landscape. Historically we have had and maintained friendly relations with large honorable PVP guilds in other games not picking sides.

Other Activities

We have members in other games on other servers, however this specific guild was specifically designed for Dune Awakening and will be the focus.
