The Dune Awakening Community Wiki is an open community project - everyone is welcome and encouraged to contribute information about Dune: Awakening and the community surrounding it.
At the time of writing, the game itself is still in an early closed beta testing phase, and the participants are under an NDA. While this is still the case, no content that breaks NDA (aka "Leaks") will be accepted on this wiki, and offending articles will be removed.
To keep the pages informative, effective and accurate, please observe the following contribution guidelines when creating or editing pages in the wiki.

Contribution Guidelines

  1. Always be respectful to other contributors' work. Assume their contributions have been made in good faith and the content is accurate to the best of their knowledge. If there is a point of contension, please Join the Discord to discuss instead of engaging in an edit war
  2. Use the appropriate categories for the page, this helps us sort and organise the wiki pages. See below for a list of categories and their intended purpose
  3. Always cite a source for information. Especially on pages with pre-beta content. We fully accept that the information we have right now might not be accurate in the final game, so there is some degree of speculation, but any claim made should have a source.
  4. Don't be afraid to be wrong! What you think is a storage container in a video might actually be a rubbish bin. That's what edits are for! This is a collection of the community's interpretations of what we have been presented, it's likely to change.
  5. No one person or group "owns" this wiki or the content of it's pages, it's written for and by the whole Dune Awakening community.

Categories

Below are a list of general categories and how they should be used for tagging pages

  • PreBeta - "confirmed" in-game content before open beta. Stuff we have seen in videos/FAQ/announcements. All pages with this tag need to be reviewed once beta is out.
  • Beta - Game content we can see in the open beta. NOT anything from Closed Beta (we do NOT break NDA).
  • PlayerGuild - Player Guild pages (to be different from Major/Minor houses in-game), these should use this template as a framework, and as a minimum should contain the Player Guild Infobox as standard, to quickly see key guild information.
  • Lore - Dune:Awakening specific lore. These pages should have links to the official "canon" wikis and we don't want to have huge overlap re-writing a Dune wiki.
  • DiscordLore - Pages that explain inside jokes, events and projects that happen within the Official D:A Discord
