Sandbikes are alike to groundcars in terms of viability. Being belted, they are usable at Arrakis for traversing the dunes without worrying too much about the worm, unlike with hovercraft. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Sandbikes in games
Sandbikes will be one of the faster, and less visible, ways of traversing the dunes on ground. They will be a useful way of moving fast either solo, or in two, as more can only hardly fit on a single bike. It does not seem sandbikes could have any armaments. [2] [5]
