Armour is an important aspect of every game, as good protection can mean the difference between life and death.

Armour in game

Armour will make up a key part of a player's strife in Dune: Awakening. Armour will provide protection and allow its wearer to survive otherwise lethal encounters. [1]Although it is curently unknown if armour gets split into different categories (helmet, chest etc.) and how that would be managed. But it does seem we might get a split in sense of heavy, light and medium armour, but that is a speculation based on released footage. Some armour will be based on its faction of origin, allowing you to show your allegiance [2] Npcs will also mostly wear armour players will be able to get. [3]

Stillsuit

Stillsuit is a type of underarmour, that allows the recycling of bodily moisture for re-use and is a vital asset in the desert. Without stillsuit, survival is almost impossible. [4] Stillsuits will have different types with different amounts of efficiency, although the specifics are currently unknown. [5]
