Gauss rifles are what is assumed to be the most commonly seen long rifle in trailers, as they shoot projectiles, instead of a particle beam usually seen with lasguns. Gauss cannons, unlike lasguns, shouldnt cause an explosion upon contact with a shield. [1] [2] [3] [4]
