The Deep Desert

In the deep desert, players will be released into the full extent of the game, open PvP will be enabled, even allowing players to shoot their teammates.[1]
Also in the deep desert, the shifting sands mechanic is present[2]: every week a massive Coriolis storm will sweep through the area, demolishing anything in its path[3]

Risks
Due to the nature of it, the Deep Desert is a very dangerous place. Some dangers the players will fill are:
- Ringmouth sandworms, capable of consuming vehicles whole. [4][5]
- PvP, including Friendly fire[1]
- Suspected unsuitability of shields due to worms and vast landscape of open sand[6]
- Sandstorms
Speculative dangers are:
- Intense sunlight leading to faster dehydration
