Survival Map
Survival map is currently a name for an area in-game which serves as the first open area players get to after the tutorial.
Survival map
In the area known as Survival map, players will start their journey with other players on Arrakis. This area will contain all the basic stuff required to live and prosper. It seems that the Survival map is the part of map where players will be allowed to place permanent bases, without the fear of getting their sand castles wiped with the next weekly Coriolis storm, if they can keep the shields online and pay their taxes. Survival map will mostly be a PvE area, although it migh contain areas with PvP enabled. [1] [2]
