House Butler
Purpose / Ethos
Our purpose is to rise to the top of Seitch Sandrat, and continuously be the number one contributor on the Landsraad board by any means necessary. Butlers have survived through generations and years of war and suffrage. Finally, after having a small foothold on Arrakis, can we rebuild our name and gain control of the Spice, and in turn the known Verse. Whether it be through legitimate and honorable means or lying, deceiving, and backstabbing, the Spice Must Flow.
We accept players of all kinds, if you're a casual player who just wants to grind and have a community to help you with it, or a large guild based role-play enviroment, we are open for all players who want to dip into every aspect Dune: Awakening has to offer.

Guild Lore
"Butlers are servants unto no one!"
As the roots of two great houses, Corrino and Harkonnen, no one can boast a greater history than us. Butler was the surname of an old family of Salusa Secundus in the days of the League of Nobles. The Butlers were wealthy and prominent both on Salusa and in the League at large. Still, their importance skyrocketed with Serena Butler's actions during the rebellion on Earth in 201 BG, which caused the Butlerian Jihad to carry the family's name. Rayna Butler, the founder of the Butlerian movement, which was also named after the Butlers, was the great-granddaughter of Serena's sister Octa Butler. Rayna's death in 22 BG marked the end of the name Butler.
Through Octa's grandchildren, Faykan and Abulurd Butler, the Butler family also gave rise to the families of House Corrino and House Harkonnen, respectively. These two Great Houses would also become crucial to the history of the Known Universe. After the Butlerian-Jihad, a surviving heir to the family name lives to reclaim the honor and weight the Butler name once carried.
