Lasguns are an endgame subtype of ranged Weapons, that works differently than other ranged weapons.
Instead of consuming darts, Lasguns drains energy, making their efficiency heavily dependent on the tier of power pack used by the player.
It is worth noting that every Lasgun is equipped with a safety mechanic that will make it stop if the laser is aimed at a Holtzman Shield, rendering the weapon effective only against unshielded enemies.
