In-game
In Dune: Awakening, players will have the option to learn abilities based on the Mentats[1] of the Dune Universe. In the canon of the books and films, Mentats are effectively human computers, specially trained to expand their intellect and logical reasoning to a superhuman level, and often act as high-ranking advisors to the leadership of the Great Houses.
