Spaceships in Dune play an immense role, allowing humanity to traverse the vastness of space and settle new systems and planets, including Arrakis.
Although most modern spaceships are not capable of foldspace technology (which allows to travel across galaxies in almost an instant), they are still used for transporting anything within a single star system, and to load on and off a Spacing Guild Heighliner[1]
Patrol Ships
Spaceships are now confirmed to be in Dune: Awakening [2] and are patrolling the planet using spotlights. It is believed that these are Sardukar and will hunt the players[3]
Spaceships cannot be piloted by players. [4]
