New Feature: Base Reconstruction Tool
- Base Reconstruction Tool has been added, allowing you to fully back up and restore your base in Hagga Basin, even across servers.
- There is a 1-week cooldown per sub-fief to back up the base.
- The UI is divided into two submodes: « Backup » and « Place Base »
- There is an option to snap the base back to its original location when placing the base.
- The player can also place the base in a different location, provided the placement meets stability and overlap conditions.
- The tool offers options to rotate the base and adjust its height, width, and depth.
- Similar to the Solido Replicator, foundations automatically extend downward to aid placement if the base is positioned too high. Foundations can extend up to 5 units, but will stop earlier if they reach the land claim boundaries. Additional foundations will be tagged as such, and you will not get resources back from destroying them.
- The new location and any additional foundations become permanently associated with the base (they show up as yellow in the blueprint). If the player backs it up again, these changes will be included in the new backup.
- There is also the “Toggle On original material” option, which allows the player to see the blueprint with the final textures.
- The tool is associated with the character, not with the tool. It means that if you lose the tool, you can craft another, and it will have the same bases you backed up with the previous tool (similar to how the Vehicle Backup Tool works). This also means that if Player B acquires the tool from Player A, Player B will only see the bases they backed up (if any), not Player A’s.
- The tool can store up to three bases.
- What persists when the player backs up a base and restores it:
- All buildables
- All placeables
- Base name (as set in the Subfief Console)
- Buildable and placeable health
- Buildable and placeable holograms (if set as holograms, they remain holograms)
- Placeable settings:
- Power state (ON/OFF)
- Custom names
- Access levels
- Open/close states for doors
- Circuit settings for inventory placeables
- Item durability and maximum durability (for items where it applies)
- Water levels in the Literjons stored in chests
- Blood levels in Blood Sacks stored in chests
- Base shield status
- All items stored within the inventory circuit (chests, fabricators, refineries, etc.)
- Active crafting or refining queues (fabricators and refineries resume ongoing processes)
- Consumables inside production placeables (e.g. Fuel Cells, Lubricant, Filters, etc.) – including the unit currently in use
- Water stored in water-related placeables
- Blood stored in blood extraction placeables
- Decorations placed on other surfaces (e.g. pillows on beds, plates on tables, furniture on carpets)
- All horizontal extensions
- All vertical extensions
- Current Invoices/Taxes – Players won’t be able to back up their base with unpaid tax invoices. Invoices must be paid first, and a message is displayed accordingly.
- Note: while current invoices persist, no new invoices are generated while the base is backed up.
- The following do not persist when a base is backed up and restored:
- Parked vehicles (they are not part of the base and will fall)
- Partially assembled vehicles (they will be left in the air)
- Permissions set in the Subfief Console
- Restrictions
- Only the Owner can store their base. Other players cannot, even if they have Associate or Co-Owner permissions.
- The tool can only be used in Hagga Basin – both for backing up and restoring.
- The base cannot be restored in an area overlapping with another landclaim.
- The base cannot be restored in an area overlapping with a no-building zone.
- The tool shouldn’t allow Advanced Subfief Consoles to be placed in Hagga Basin South.
- Placement isn’t possible while another player stands in the destined landclaim, even if the player is not overlapping with any buildable blueprint (this is to prevent entrapment).
- It’s not possible to restore a base if it’s overlapping with a vehicle – the blueprinted buildables show up as yellow. If the vehicles are in the landclaim but not overlapping with buildable or placeable, then it’s allowed.
- It shouldn’t be possible to back up a base that was either restored or built within the time restriction.
- The player won’t be able to backup a base if buildables are outside of the subfief. A warning is displayed, and the player must resolve this in order to backup a base.
- The tool doesn’t allow the base to be backed up if the Subfief Console in on terrain. A message is displayed, and the player must resolve that before attempting to back it up again.
- If placeables that are not the Subfief Console are placed upon terrain, a message should be displayed informing the player that there is a certain number of placeables not connected to the base, and these won’t be backed up.
- Tool item behaviour
- The tool can be:
- Stored in base containers
- Stored in vehicle containers
- Dropped
- Banked
- Sold in the Exchange
- Traded with another player
- Traded with a Vendor
- The tool cannot be:
- Lost on death – even death by a Sandworm
- The tool can be:

- Observer Foundation
- Observer Floor
- Observer Wall
- Observer Wall 2
- Observer Passageway
- Observer Stairs
- Observer Window

- There is a new Cargo Container which can be build using the welding torch. It can hold a large amount of items and can be transported by the Carrier Ornithopter across maps.
- Increased the height where Sandstorms do damage, preventing base building where it should be disallowed.
Combat
- Activating prescience now clears existing poison and poison stacks.
- Combat in the tutorial was tuned so that NPCs are now dashing out of slow-blade attacks less.
Vehicles
- Added a new entry to the Plastanium tier Vehicle category of the Tech Menu – Carrier Ornithopter Cargo Container.
- This cargo container can be placed out as a vehicle and can be carried by a Carrier Ornithopter.
- It holds up to 150 slots and 15000 volume of items.
- We recommend crafting one cargo container at a time, as the Advanced Vehicle Fabricator has limited inventory space. Anything crafted after the first container will automatically be put into a chest with empty space.
- Inventories of harnessed vehicles and containers can be accessed at banks in social hubs.
- Improved Treadwheel passenger seat, preventing getting stuck when NPCs are nearby.
- Vehicles can now be recovered for up to 30 days.
Worldbuilding and Exploration
- The travel confirmation dialog now shows a warning message if a storm is present at your destination.
Story, Journey, and New Player Experience
- Atreides players can no longer pick up contracts with Anton Tolliver that they had already completed with House Harkonnen before betraying. Players who have taken such a contract already will still need to cancel it manually.
User Interface
- A Patch Notes Highlights pop-up will now show in the main menu for the first boot after a new Chapter or Patch release. This will show the main highlights of the update, so players don’t miss out on the important changes and cool new shiny features or content. From this pop-up, you can open the full patch notes website to read the details.
Other
- Solido Replicator controls changed when using a controller:
