Blood harvesting, or exsanguination, will be one of the ways in which a player can fulfill their need for moisture and maintaining their hydration level.[1] However consuming raw blood will cause side a debuff called blood drinker.[2][3] It is therefore recommended to purify the blood before drinking it.[4][5]

Harvesting process
Blood can be obtained from dead enemies and extracted by using a blood extractor and blood sack[6][2], similar to what we see in Dune Part 2.[7]
Purification can be done by bringing blood back to your base and filtering it through a blood purifier. This will yield pure water that can be consumed without side effects. The process takes time[2] and requires power.[8]
