Purpose / Ethos
Duncan’s Legion is a casual, chill, Atreides-aligned guild for players who value integrity, freedom, and chill camaraderie. We're built for self-reliant players—especially solo enjoyers—who still want a trustworthy group to back them up on Arrakis.
We’re not about min-maxing or grinding 24/7. We’re about building something honest, useful, and respectful. Together. No drama, no ego—just solid gameplay, a shared base, and a guild where your word actually matters.
We reflect Duncan Idaho’s essence—loyal, courageous, relaxed under pressure, and always quick with a grin or joke before diving into the storm.
Recruitment Process
We're open to any respectful, mic-ready player aged 21+ who shares our values. There’s no application wall—just DM livelifereal14 on Discord.
Once you join:
- We’ll greet you like a brother or sister walking out of a sandstorm.
- You’ll get a quick lay of the land (base info, channels, and roles).
- We’ll hang, help out, and see where you want to plug in.
We’re also looking for early contributors to help grow the guild’s foundation (Discord setup, co-op coordination, etc.).
Ranks/Hierarchy
We don’t run on ego or titles—we run on trust. Duncan wasn’t a commander; he was someone people followed willingly. That’s our style:
- The Founder – The one who lit the torch. Not a dictator, just the first to say “Let’s build something real.” Currently: livelifereal14
- The Council – A trusted group that helps steer the guild, moderate, and co-create structure. We lead together, not top-down.
- (Future) Domain Leads – As we grow, we’ll form roles for players who want to take point on crafting, PvP prep, logistics, etc. (WIP)
- Legionnaires – Core members. Reliable, self-reliant, and always there when needed.
- Initiates – New arrivals getting their footing. No hazing—just respect, patience, and a welcome.
Respect isn’t granted by title—it’s earned by showing up and being real.
Leadership
Duncan’s Legion is built to be democratic, not dictated. Our Founder (livelifereal14) is here to organize and support—not command. The real leadership happens within The Council, a rotating body of active, invested members helping guide decisions and keep the guild running.
We’re actively recruiting members who:
- Are familiar with Discord setup/moderation
- Can coordinate small teams or projects
- Have experience in co-op guild or survival communities
- Want to help shape a chill but honorable group from the ground up

We don’t roleplay Duncan—we live his energy:

Duncan’s Legion isn’t a military unit or a lore-heavy RP group. We’re a crew. A circle. A gathering of people who want to survive the desert together, share what we build, and enjoy the ride while it lasts.
Known Allegiances or Rivalries
- Allied with: Other Atreides-aligned, respectful guilds. Bonus if you like cracking jokes in voice chat while raiding spice camps.
- Neutral: Everyone else, unless proven otherwise.
- Opposed to: Exploiters, griefers, selfish players, or high-drama groups.
(We don’t start fights. But if you drag us into one—we don’t back down.)
Other Activities
Shared Base Building – For crafting, stashing, resting, and regrouping
- Voice Chat Hangouts – Chill sessions, team-up opportunities, or just talking shop
- Casual PvE – Light group runs—no pressure or mandatory ops
- Resource Pooling – Respect-based sharing system. Don’t hoard. Don’t ghost
- Light PvP – Optional. If it supports the team, we’ll squad up. If not, no sweat
