We are House Locusta.
Strong. Determined. Loyal. We are a unit of like minded individuals with a simple objective: survive as a family. We specialize in different occupations that can cater to any role you may see on the harsh landscape of Arrakis.

Purpose / Ethos
House Locusta, Although being strong participants and forerunners in the Jihadist front, run a trade and entertainment village in the open desert by the name of Gommorah that is welcome to all. Gommorah houses a market, colisseum, casino, and melange lounge to distract weary travelers, if only for a moment, from the harsh conditions of Arrakis; as well as armed guards to keep the rabble to a minumum. Other endeavors House locusta partake in are holding council meetings with other guilds to discuss territory and trade as well as helping set and uphold the rules of kanly.
Recruitment Process
Recruitment is not limited to Dune Awakening's Official Discord but our primary channel of recruitment. A lot is done there by means of recruitment posters and simply chatting with other members. We also recruit by means of "natural selection" through meeting worthy recruits on other games and mentioning Dune Awakening
Ranks/Hierarchy
House Locusta functions as a traditional Dune House with Duke Locusta being the leader of the House followed by Count Locusta acting as right hand. From there things are structured into roles and officers overseeing squads built off of said roles.
Leadership
Duke Locusta and Count Zaneo Locusta are the founding members and current leadership for House Locusta. Both active in the Dune Awakening community by means of Official Discord and Wiki for Dune Awakening as well as facilitators and promoters of growth for small guilds.
Guild Lore
House Locusta is directly descended from the Atreides bloodline (all the way back to Roman Times) and considered a cousin House to Atreides. On Arrakis we are linked to Fremen and Smugglers as well as our cousin House. We are known for political prowess as well as our military tactics. Duke Locusta is a descendant of an old House sent to investigate the Missionaria Protectiva on Arrakis by the Padishah Emperor Elwood Corrino IX of the time. The Duke’s great grandfather headed the investigations on Arrakis where he eventually remained, enthralled by Fremen culture. This ultimately led to relations with a Fremen Reverend Mother and the shifting of the line of Locusta into sons and daughters of Dune. Current day we are the fulcrum point at which the Jihad stands, the bearer of the arm which tips the scales of holy justice in the name of Muad’Dib.

Other Activities
House Locusta was started as a Dune Awakening guild, but the roots go deeper than Arrakis. Count Locusta has ran a guild by the name of Brother's Grimm on ESO which the Duke became a part of after meeting the Count years prior. We were menaces on the seas in Sea of Thieves with Count as our Captain. After that we turned to DayZ and found a love for survival games as well as community driven games. Known for our "swarm-like" raid tactics we soon took on the name Livonia Locusts and quickly dominated our server. Eventually we turned to Arma Reforger and stumbled upon Arma Life community servers where we ran security for the North East Elite and fell in love with the scope and community participation for a player modded server. All of this is what brought us here to Dune Awakening: A deep sense of community all packaged with a sandbox survival game.
Other games of note that House Locusta take part in are Halo, Enlisted, Chivalry 2, Rogue Company, Valheim, countless RPGs, and Warhammer Darktide.
