The skies above are heavily trafficked by both warring houses, and the destruction they rain upon the desert draws the scavies like flies. We are processing two slave herds per week when we should be processing four or five. Kunladi Halil: Our scouts in the graben report they're tracking several bands of deserters. I know the reward money would be nice, but more often than not, the deserters are better equipped and trained than our guys. It's not worth the effort. Under the command of Kunladi Halil and the pressuring demands of Lord Rabban, Khidr's Shadow is not an ordinary Slaver camp. With big structures, administrative rooms and holding cells, the purpose of this outpost is clear. Kunladi's men are scouting for scavengers who are gathering around Zala Khidr like flies. They are captured and enslaved to provide labor for Lord Rabban's construction of Neo Carthag.
