Lust is a cave located in the Sheol area south of the Shield Wall. Due to the nature of this location, it is very radioactive and dangerous but rewarding boasting multiple nodes of Jasmium Crystals.
Location
Lust is a heavily irradiated cave located in the Sheol area in the southwest of the Hagga Basin. It's located on an rock island between two Harkonnen camps on the south-western corner of the region, northeast of the Wreck of the Euphoria.
Lore
As you enter the cave, you'll find a trail of two still burning glowtubes leading deeper into it and to a desiccated corpse wearing a radion suit next to a burnt out glowtube. Directly behind the corpse lies part of some sort of machinery, with more parts present as you enter the even more heavily irradiated areas of the cave. Descending through an archway with Fremen writing leads to a large irradiated pool with copper ore and jasmium crystals around it and a rock pillar in the middle. Next to the pillar is a small altar with another corpse wearing a radiation suit. Several seemingly undamaged scrolls, as well as bones and a skull on a large platter can be found on the altar, with more bones and a small bowl next to it. Behind the altar is a stone with more Fremen writing on it. Descending even deeper, you can find a third corpse, broken sarcophagi, skeletons and more scrolls, with one unfurled in an alcove at the northern end of the cave. The corpse in this section wears a scavenger's clothes instead of a radiation suit and can be looted for ammunition. The path leading east has a large Fremen mural to the left of it, depicting a hooded figure with outstretched arms under a sun, with a small sandworm behind it. The path ends in a smaller chamber with a radiation pool and a jasmium node, as well as two stone pillars, one lying broken in the radiation pool and one still standing on the southern edge of the pool, both with more Fremen writing.
In general, spots of sunlight shining through the ceiling of the cave allow spelunking without the need of a personal light.
