Purpose / Ethos
All members of the Ravencroft Trading Co. are expected to abide by the following rules / code of conduct while representing the guild.
I: Real life comes first.
Each of us has a real life outside of the game. While we may all enjoy our time inside of the game, it is important to take care of our real life responsibilities first. Eat when you are hungry; sleep when you are tired. No player shall be penalized for prioritizing their real life before the game.
II: Harassment will not be tolerated.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or prejudicial behavior of any form is expressly forbidden. Intentionally vexatious, obstructive, malicious, hostile, aggressive, or insulting behavior is not acceptable.
III: Keep it civil.
Members are expected to try to resolve disagreements with other players civilly, privately, and independently. Failing that, try to work around it. Approach a Provost, Quartermaster, or Captain for assistance if you have exhausted all other options. Do not discuss politics, religion, or similarly divisive topics.
IV: Do not bring dishonor to the company.
Behaviors such as spamming, trolling, ninjaing, begging, flaming, or other anti-social actions are not acceptable.
V: Respect others.
Treat all other players with dignity and respect. Be respectful of other members of the company, their abilities, their contributions, and any extra duties they perform.
