TNV (Timeless Nomadic Veterans) is a cozy haven for the 'dedicated casual' player within a relaxed, family-like gaming community. By 'casual' we mean players with real-life commitments such as jobs and families, and by 'dedicated' we mean players who enjoy getting involved and grouping up online.
Why choose TNV?
We want to foster a tight-knit but relaxed family atmosphere for mature gamers who are generally between their 30s and 70s. A place where everyone knows each other and enjoys socializing both in and out of games. All ages and gaming experience levels are welcome.
How did it all begin?
Back in 2007, a small group of seasoned MMO players ventured into Vanguard. We shared a passion for exploring the game's dungeons, and the frustration of wipes and the disorganization in pick-up groups (PUGs) pushed us to find a better way. We decided to try something new: forming a well-balanced group of alts. It was such a blast that some of us found ourselves losing interest in other activities and decided to transform our group into a guild. We chose a guild name that reflected our love for dungeon crawling: Tenebris Nos Vocat, Latin for "The darkness calls us". Since our Vanguard days, we've embarked on many gaming adventures together, always prioritizing dungeon crawling and group activities with guildies and friends. Though our guild name has changed over time, we've always held onto our initials, TNV, as a guiding light.

All are welcome to join TNV's Discord server! You are automatically a 'guest' upon arrival. To become a member please sign our charter by visiting the "TNV-Rules" channel, then select #4 Dune Awakening in the "Pick-Your-Role" channel. Ranks/Hierarchy
Elder Guardians
Members of the Inner Council and TNV administrators.
Expedition Officer
This rank is assigned when games require it. Officers hold this position only for the duration of our activity in that game or if the officer chooses to retire.
Veteran Voyager
Members who have been with us for a while or those who are particularly active in our community.
Timeless Traveler
This is the standard rank for members actively playing games with us.
Nomadic Novice
New members receive this rank after signing our charter in the #TNV-Role channel. They hold this rank until they've played with us for a while and feel ready to become full members.
Nomadic Guest
This rank is for individuals who join our server but prefer not to be part of the guild, simply wishing to stay in touch.
Leadership
We have many members and officers with extensive gaming leadership experience of varying backgrounds. That leadership has spanned many games, including World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars The Old Republic, Lord of the Rings Online, Age of Conan, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, and Ultima Online just to name several prominent titles out of dozens. Our TNV Leader is Medrall, Guild Leader is ciph, and our Elder Guardians include Darzian and Logad.
Rules
- No Drama. Having fun is our top priority and drama is left at the door. We're all about enjoying games together, so we're looking for members who bring a positive vibe. Since most of us are 30+, we appreciate a mature attitude.
- Respect Members. We're like one, big, happy family. Friendly teasing is fine, but let's keep it clean and respectful. No insults, slurs, or foul language allowed.
- Respect Others. This is key whether someone is part of TNV or not. Let's represent our guild with pride, showing good sportsmanship in every situation.
- We Are Worldwide. While our base is in Europe, we're open to members from all time zones. We love seeing you active in our Discord and in-game chat. Voice chat is optional. Let's game on and have a blast together!
- We Speak English. We ask that members communicate in English. Don't worry about being perfect as many of us are not native English speakers.
- No Cheating. Cheating or intentionally exploiting glitches is not our style. Anyone caught doing so will be shown the door.
