Purpose / Ethos
Webway is a Dune: Awakening guild sworn to house Harkonnen. We are opportunistic profit seekers on the world of Arrakis, and pledge to be as disruptive in the player market as we are in the deep desert. We are not openly hostile to all other players, however, we will take advantage of any situation that serves to benefit our guild.
Our primary focus is market dominance. We aim to gain a solid foothold in the player market, through crafting, gathering, base design, and exploiting pricing variances. We will be a formidable force in the market, while also being as impactful in the Deep Desert, and all other forms of PVP. Should we ever win the right to set laws via the Landsraad, we will generally vote for Full-loot PVP.
While aggressive, we are not without reason. Friendly players and allied guilds are not valid targets for Webway activities, and will be treated with respect and supported, providing the same courtesy is extended to us. We hope to find like-minded groups to cooperate with, and spread our influence across the deep desert and into the market. We treat solo players and small groups with a degree of dignity, as one spared life today could mean a potential asset tomorrow.
Our approach to the player economy is simple: profit. We strive to find niches in the market to fill, while using our growing capital to disrupt the trade of various assets. We aim to buy low and sell fast, while amassing stockpiles of materials that we slowly release back into the market at an ever increasing price. Our guild will also sell exploration data and base designs, and will grow to be a recognized, potentially vilified, brand.
