The Keep sits along the far northeastern edge of the Western Shield Wall, it is among the elevated rocky terrain near the region’s boundary. Its location above the surrounding approaches, combined with the narrow paths and bridge connecting parts of the outpost, gives it an easily defensible position over the nearby desert.
