I believe Liet-Kynes was up to something, and if Io won't grant me access to the research, we should retrace Kynes's steps ourselves. However, to do that we must learn more about Kynes… Assuming the high-ranking Thufir Hawat — undoubtedly an expert in information trading — is even willing to talk to you, you will find him in Arrakeen.

However, to do that we must learn more about Kynes… Assuming the high-ranking Piter de Vries — undoubtedly an expert in information trading — is willing to talk to you, you will find him in Harko Village. If you haven't been, it is a bit of a trek — you'll have to fly there, or take a 'thopter taxi from one of the tradeposts.
