Details

After being caught on Zanovar by Count Fenring, the Player wakes up in a prison cell on the ship. A Face Dancer of the Bene Tleilax who had infiltrated the Sardaukar, Scytale, opens the cell's door. They reveal that the Player is the latest-generation ghola of Tyros Reffa, the murdered half-brother of Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV. Scytale is disappointed that learning the true identity has awakened nothing in the Player, and tasks them with finding the Sleeper, who turns out to be a fourth-generation Tyros Reffa ghola. The Player then sneaks their way through the ship, avoiding Sardaukar patrols.

Eventually, the Player reaches a chamber with cryopods and starts looking for the Sleeper, but is interrupted by Fenring again, who sedates the player with an anesthetic gas. They are escorted into a large hall with a cryopod containing the Sleeper, who is comatose after ingesting the Water of Life in Sietch Talab. An aide delivers a missive from the Emperor to Fenring, who then plays the recording. The sight of Shaddam's face from the solido projection, as well as the hearing him utter the name "Tyros Reffa", triggers something in the Player. The Player falls into a spice dream, and with the help of The Guide, eventually accepts themself as one with Tyros Reffa, awakening with Tyros' memories.

When the Player awakens, Count Fenring and his wife Margot Fenring were having a heated discussion about how to proceed, as the Emperor had announced his plans to travel to Arrakis himself. The Player inches closer and closer to the cryopod, and starts breaking the glass to free the Sleeper. Fenring unmasks in an attempt to use the compulsion to stop them, but the Player eventually overcomes the compulsion permanently. The player manages to awaken The Sleeper by holding a small vial of Water of Life near his face, allowing him to breath in the fumes. The Sleeper stops Fenring from stabbing the Player and renders Margot Fenring unconcious, and the Count subsequently retreats, carrying his wife.

After fighting off waves of Sardaukar troops, the Sleeper who essentially is now a functional genetical copy of the Kwisatz Haderach, kills Scytale and sends the player off towards the escape pods. At the escape pods, he reveals that he has decided to stay aboard the exploding Eye of Salusa as humanity does not have a future he can perceive if he lives. He pushes the Player into the only remaining escape pod, and launches it by ramming his Crysknife into the launch console. This leaves the Player as the sole genetic copy of the Kwisatz Haderach, and the most legimate heir to the Golden Lion Throne.
