The Fall of the Mithra is a Journey available as the first part of the Lost Harvest DLC, available to players who have purchased the DLC package or the Season Pass from the Deluxe or Ultimate Game Editions.

The Journey centers around The Mithra, a harvester which has been shot down from its carryall in the Western Vermillius Gap.

While the majority of the Mithra's crew did not survive the crash, Chief Hanso, Quartermaster Hix, and Lieutenant Drangh have holed up in the wreckage. They are attempting to reach their employer, the Spice Miner's Guild, and request rescue from the Kirab, Slavers and Scavengers, which have quickly noticed and are taking advantage of the situation.

If the player has the Lost Harvest DLC (available via the Season pass included in certain Game Editions), provided they have completed the Moving On journey and are inside a closed base (with the watersealed) status or a tradepost, they will receive the following distress call:

???: Crew-tag AD-242! Our Carryall is taking heavy fire, there's black smoke, and they're not responding to comms!
???: Carryall hit! Connector cables snapping! We're going down!

Afterwards, the player can begin the journey to locate and investigate the crash site.

Objectives

Following returning to Chief Hanso, the next step of the Lost Harvest journey, Villari's Prize begins with contacting Kief Villari via communinet:

I need you to recover a package that has gone missing from the wreck of the Mithra. The most likely explanation is that it is in the hands of the Kirab. Finding out where it took it won't be easy. We'll start by eavesdropping on chatter in known Kirab dens - see what we can learn.
Once we locate the package, it'll be up to you to recover it. I'll keep you updated via the channel.
