Welcome to The Dune: Awakening Community Wiki, the community knowledge base for everything to do with Funcom's latest and boldest multiplayer survival game[1], set on the sands of Arrakis in Frank Herbert's DUNE[2], in collaboration with the publishers of Denis Villeneuve's latest movies[3], Legendary.
Dune: Awakening is releasing on May 20th 2025 [4]. Currently there is a Character Creator and Benchmarking Tool available on Steam for players to create their characters and test their system performance ahead of release.
The game has been in closed beta testing since December 2023[5], and as such a lot of the information gathered here may not be wholly representative of the final game, however it serves as a place for the community to pool knowledge together and update as we discover more!
