Welcome to The Dune: Awakening Community Wiki, the community knowledge base for everything to do with Funcom's latest and boldest multiplayer survival game[1], set on the sands of Arrakis in Frank Herbert's DUNE[2], in collaboration with the publishers of Denis Villeneuve's latest movies[3], Legendary.
Dune: Awakening is releasing on June 10th 2025 [4]. Currently there is a Character Creator and Benchmarking Tool available on Steam for players to create their characters and test their system performance ahead of release. The first ~20 hours of content of the game were made available during a large scale weekend beta from 2025-05-09[5].
The game is available for pre-order with several editions, some which give a head start allowing play from 5th June 2025[6], also pre-ordering the game gives access to the weekend beta test[7]
