Preliminary Report
Found in the Headquarters building:
My official report, with full numbers, is forthcoming, but I will make my conclusions plain here. Of our engineers and workers, 32 are counted among the dead, with a further 79 reported injuries. Three more engineers are still missing, though we can likely include them among the dead. The debris from the broken asteroid caused significant damage. I estimate production is slowed by 29%. The workers are stretched too thin, and exhaustion breeds carelessness. Unless this is addressed, we can expect further accidents.
This does not bode well for the water quotas of the next quarter. Fortunately, the Bewts are also failing to meet theirs with consistency, and as such are unlikely to initiate a vote of no confidence against the family at this time.

The incident is a setback, nothing more. Engineering teams will recover lost output and meet target quotas. Compensation will be docked for any shortfall.
Increase capture frequency as required. Two asteroids per week is acceptable.
