In Dune: Awakening, debuffs are negative status effects caused by environmental hazards, combat abilities, or survival choices. They are tracked in the Status UI, which includes a pulsating effect for deadly conditions.
| Debuff | Effect |
|---|---|
| Sunstroke | Increases rate at which the player loses water. Once the sunstroke meter has been filled, will knock out the player. |
| Radiation | Slowly increases the amount of radiation in the player. Once the radiation bar is full, the player will die instantly. |
| Blood drinker | Reduces the player's total health and hydration. |
| Debuff | Effect |

| Poison | Damage over time that bypasses shields. |
| Fire (Burn) | Damage over time that bypasses shields, less effective against armoured targets.[1] |
| Electricity | Drains your current supply of power. |
| Crippling Strike | Applies temporary movement speed reduction and increases dash stamina cost. |
| Suspensor Blast | Applies temporary movement speed reduction. |
