House Kenola finds it's home on planet Allgrave, described as a "stark and barren" by Mara Bleak. They occupy a second planetary body known as Caliburn, which the revered monastary known as Sanctuary exists.

House Kenola places great emphasis on faith as it is the primary producer of religious paraphernalia. This comes from the houses rich history during the Butlarian Jihad where they inspired troops to fight with the words form the Orange Catholic Bible, of which they provided support in producing. This book is a combination of various faiths and is also referred to as the Koranjiyana Zenchristian Scriptures and is considered the most important religious text in known universe.

Envoy Dialogue

Mara Bleak: What business do you have with House Kenola?

Player: Tell me about yourself.

Mara Bleak: My name is Mara Bleak. I am blessed with the burden of serving House Kenola's diplomatic envoys among the Landsraad on Arakkis. In faith is strength!

Mara Bleak: I pray each day for grace and guidance, for this sacred task is so very different from my humble trade.

Player: And what is your trade?

Mara Bleak: In a monastery, amid the barren serenity of Caliburn, I illuminated bibles. Each unique tomes takes ten years to scribe and illustrate by hand.

Mara Bleak: Each and every illuminated bible is blessed and hand-delivered. They are not boxed and shipped, but rather given their very own seat on a transport.

Mara Bleak: Rare and expensive, to turn those gilded pages is to stir a spiritual ecstasy in one's beating chest.

Player: Arrakis seems like a harsh and dangerous place to send a book artisan.

Mara Bleak: It is written, "Paradise on my right, Hell on my left and the Angel of Death behind."

Player (Option A): Being inundated with spice is a religious experience all on its own.

Mara Bleak: It is also written, "...they shall suck the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand."

Player (Option A): Why are you all the way out here, rather than someplace more... civilized?

Mara Bleak: The Maas Kharet have a presence in the Oodham. I must confess a morbid fascination with how a cult twists a faith to create snares for the desperate.

Player (Option A): Perhaps we can help one another in this harsh place.

Mara Bleak: Indeed. Those who show good faith towards my House will enjoy my humble help.

Player (Option B): I think you're more likely to find folk hungry for spice than faith.

Mara Bleak: It is also written, "...they shall suck the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand."

Player (Option B): Why are you all the way out here, rather than someplace more... civilized?

Mara Bleak: Indeed. Those who show good faith towards my House will enjoy my humble help.

Player: Tell me about House Kenola.

Mara Bleak: House Kenola lives by its motto: "In Faith is Strength." Our home planet Allgrave is stark and barren, but i find it helps with inward contemplation.

Mara Bleak: Our sister world Caliburn hosts a vast, austere gothic Monastary known as Sanctuary, where one can escape all distractions from prayer and meditation.

Mara Bleak: Caliburn is even more harsh and barren, but the thin atmosphere allows such a clear view of the heavenly bodies, as to cause one's soul to sing.

Player: Your house places great value on faith.

Mara Bleak: House Kenola crafts religious paraphernalia for all budgets, for everyone of every caste is as worthy to drink from the wellspring of faith.

Player (Option A): Your house is quite devoted to faith.

Mara Bleak: During the Butlerian Jihad, we inspired troops with words of faith. We supported the development of the new Orange Catholic Bible. Our work continues.

Mara Bleak: When law and religious duty are one, your selfdom encloses the universe.

Player [PYON]: The meek shall inherit the universe.

Mara Bleak: Chapter and verse. Yes. Even the lowliest station has its place in the firmament. We've known this throughout our long history.

Mara Bleak: During the Butlerian Jihad, we inspired troops with words of faith. We supported the development of the new Orange Catholic Bible. Our work continues.

Mara Bleak: When law and religious duty are one, your selfdom encloses the universe.

Player: Goodbye.
