Gamescom 2024 will take place between 2024-08-21 and 2024-08-25 with the Opening Night Live (ONL) kicking off the event on 2024-08-20 evening, in Cologne, Germany.
Funcom will be at the event to feature a world premiere of Dune: Awakening. There will be a 5-minute gameplay trailer during ONL, a booth every day of the event where visitors can get loot bags and see a giant Sandworm display, as well as "live gameplay" which will be streamed via their partner streamers and have dev commentary, in several languages[1]
In addition to this, there will be an in-person Dune Book Club session near the event on the Saturday 2024-08-24 09:00 CEST[2]
