Craft a power pack from irradiated materials at the Wreck of the Tyche.
Briefing
Our House has been searching for breakthroughs in power generation technology for quite a while, but due to the Great Convention[1] the use of nuclear material for research is banned. But our informants tell us that the Tyche was carrying an illegal cargo of irradiated crystals - and that radiation has now spread throughout the ship.
This is an opportunity for research. Go to the Tyche, find the experimental power pack, charge it with irradiated liquid from the ship and send it to us for further study. Remember, handle irradiated materials with great care!
Objectives
- Travel to the Wreck of the Tyche from the Overland Map
- Enter the Wreck of the Tyche
- Find the power pack schematics
- Harvest irradiated jasmium crystals
- Collect irradiated liquid from the cargo bay
- Craft experimental power pack
- Exit the Wreck of the Tyche
- Return to the ornithopter
Completion Message
This is a disappointing result, all things considered. The radiation has damaged the power output of the pack, not improved it. All data is good data, however, and we thank you and your patron for your efforts. Enjoy your reward.
Tips
- An
Aluminum tier or better Cutteray is required for this Mission, to be able to mine the irradiated Jasmium deposits. - Carrying Jasmium Crystals in the Backpack alone will not complete the "Harvest irradiated jasmium crystals" step. A Jasmium deposit within the Tyche MUST be mined with a compatible Cutteray.
