The Scourge

The Scourge is is a time-limited event running from 23 October - 2 November 2026. Players complete missions in the Hagga Basin and collect blood for Doctor Nailea Shaffat's efforts to combat a mysterious plague spreading across Arrakis. Missions and collected blood are rewarded with Blood Marks, which can be exchanged for event-exclusive cosmetics and base decorations. The event storyline evolves over the course of the week as the plague progresses.

To access the event, players must go to Arrakeen and speak with Frida Maltros in Doctor Shaffat's clinic. After completing the first quest "Containment", Frida Maltros can either be found at Doctor Shaffat's clinic or in the Hagga Basin, spawning at random outposts, such as The Anvil or The Crossroads. At all locations, an interactable blood purifier can be used to exchange collected blood for Blood Marks. After the second quest "Eyes of the Kirab", Maltros becomes a vendor that will exchange Blood Marks for event cosmetics.

People of Arrakeen - this is Doctor Shaffat of the Suk Inner School, speaking at the request of your Duke. If you or someone close to you develops a high fever, dizziness, excessive perspiration, yellowing of the eyes, or unusual behavior, seek medical assistance at my clinic. There is no benefit in waiting. Let us examine the illness before it becomes more difficult to treat.
