Augmentations

Augmentations are crafted gear modifications that increase the power of Plastanium items. Augmentations are crafted from schematic patterns that are found in the Overland Testing Stations introduced in Chapter 3.

How to use

When an Augmentation schematic has been found, it can be crafted at the fabricator for the corresponding item. Crafting an augmentation requires Regis Components which can be crafted using Offworld Regis Compounds that are acquired by completing Landsraad Missions.

Once crafted, an Augmentation can be attached to an item at the Augmentation Station. Augments significantly increase the capabilities of an item, but once attached an augment reduces the maximum durability of the item by 2% and cannot be removed. Additional Augmentation slots can be unlocked by levelling up the Crafting Specialization tree.
