Character Customization

From Dune: Awakening Community Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Character Customization allows players to personalize each of their characters' appearance, background and starting Archetype before they set out onto the harsh sands of Arrakis.

Appearance

Players are able to select from a wide variety of cosmetic customization options to create unique characters.

Players can always edit their character's appearance again at any time, via the Clinics in Settlements, for a 5,000 cost.

Game Options

Players can then configure:

  • Their character's name
  • Whether to skip the opening tutorial sequence
    • This option only appears if the player has completed the tutorial before
  • Whether early-game items in the Research Menu are researchable from the start
    • By default, early-game items only become unlocked as players progress through the Journey Arc: A New Beginning.
    • Advanced players may prefer to have these early-game items obtainable immediately, allowing them to research a Sandbike right away, for example.
