The Imperial Testing Stations, also known as Ecology Labs, were ancient scientific structures on Arrakis. They were built by the Old Imperium, most before the Butlerian Jihad, and were since forgotten and abandoned.

The Imperial scholars that used these stations are long gone, but many left shigawire recordings documenting their research. The labs have since become home to various groups in the present day, seeking shade and shelter, or even co-opting the existing equipment and research for their own purposes.

Testing Stations are the primary source of Advanced Servoks and Particle Capacitors, and often contain damaged Utility Tools and Vehicle Modules as well.
