Maas Kharet
The Maas Kharet are a hostile group of NPCs that can be found scattered across The O'odham and Mysa Tarill in Hagga Basin, occupying Camps and Caves alike.
Lore
The Maas Kharet are a fanatical cult created by The Paranoid. In order to accomplish her mission of "finding the Fremen", she thought to bring them back herself.
Their largest stronghold is Mysa Tarill, the site of a former power plant destroyed by a sandworm drawn in by the vibrations of the generators. After occupying the location, they constructed a massive temple using the carcass of the dead sandworm.
They refer to the sandworms as "Tyrant Worms" and seek to locate and claim anything associated with the Fremen. However, others on Arrakis view the Maas Kharet not as the Fremen's successors, but merely as a group of fanatics.
Above all, they have completely distorted the traditional Fremen veneration of Shai-Hulud.
In-Game
In the game, they primarily use poison-based attacks, such as firing toxic darts or wielding a rapier that delivers a poisonous strike.
