Lady Jessica is a member of this order, and in this Alternate Timeline, gives birth to a daughter, Ariste Atreides, instead of Paul Atreides. As a result of her obedience to the Sisterhood, she is trained as a truthsayer and foils Dr. Yueh’s plan, allowing the Atreides to survive the ambush during the Siege of Arrakeen[2].
