Reverend Mother

The player meets the Reverend Mother at the start of the story. She holds a Gom Jabbar at the players neck and propounds a series of questions - the answers to which dictate the player characters background, such as planet of origin and social class. The player is tasked with locating the Fremen on Arrakis and given the following command: “Wake the Sleeper!”.
