House Maros is a Great House, and one of the 25 voting Houses within the Landsraad.
It belongs to the Manufacturing Union, a bloc of the Landsraad focused on Crafting.
As a result, corresponding Landsraad Missions may be completed on the House's behalf. Doing so increases a player's personal standing with the House, unlocking tiered rewards independent of the weekly Landsraad vote outcome.
Lore
The motto of the Maros House is "Hunting is life." They have a reputation for being a fair and respectful House.
Their homeworld is Grenbelle, a planet offering a perfect balance between agricultural lands and verdant forests. Their inhabitants lead a rustic and happy life, surrounded by vast meadows, fields of grain, and snow-capped peaks.

Marwan Coel: Greetings, stranger. Forgive the twitching of my weapon hand, but we are far from anywhere and the folk who wander these wastes tend to be dangerous.

Marwan Coel: My name is Marwan Coel, scion of House Coel, a minor house under the aegis of House Maros. You're a long way out just to mingle with a minor noble. I see to the business of my liege House, here on Arrakis. I have the favor of a few Landsraad representatives.

[2] Truth to tell, my family is as fertile as the idyllic farmlands of Grenbelle. I have siblings and cousins beyond counting. I have to carve my own way.
Marwan Coel : My family manages the shipping logistics of the gourmet delicacies of House Maros across the universe, including the coveted Marosdeer venison. It’s not glamorous work, at a glance, but it gives House Coel powerful contacts across the Imperium. We feed the Empire.

Player: What are you doing way out here?
Marwan Coel : I come from a planet of hunters and masters of animal husbandry. I suppose it’s in my blood to want to see the greatest of all, the sandworms. I was told this would be a good place to catch sight of these terribly magnificent creatures.
Player: A sandworm doesn’t seem like a very realistic hunting trophy.
Marwan Coel : Quite right. I merely wish to capture these marvels with my eye. My family thinks me mad for risking such danger… when they think of me at all.
Player: Tell me more about House Maros.
Marwan Coel: I could tell you our House words: “Ours is the Hunt.” I could tell you of our reputation as a just and respectful House. I could tell you of our serene, pastoral homeworld of Grenbelle, perfectly balanced landscapes of verdant woods and farmland. I could tell you of contented people living an idealized, rustic life. Grain dancing in the gentle breeze. Snow-covered mountains. Vast meadows. I could wax poetic of all of these things, for a day and a night, but all you require to understand my House is to know of our coveted Marosdeer.

Marwan Coel: The finest, tenderest, most buttery meat in all the universe comes from our famous Marosdeer, the most sought-after delicacy throughout the Imperium. Every aspect of our homeworld is tailored to the careful and compassionate husbandry of these exclusive deer. They live better than most people!
Player: Is your House really built on a foundation of meat?
Marwan Coel: It seems unlikely, does it not? But think it through and you will begin to understand. Marosdeer is the most sought-after delicacy in the Imperium. No one of power or position would dare fail to serve it at an important function. Therefore, no House would dare to risk being cut off from its only source. Do you see how this shields House Maros from danger? They say whosoever controls the spice controls the universe. It is also true that the way to the Empire’s heart is through its stomach.
