Spice Miner's Guild
The Spice Miner's Guild is a powerful association that owns the majority of spice harvesting equipment used on Arrakis, and employs the labour force of spice miners and workers, colloquially known as Dunemen, involved in conducting these spice harvesting operations.
Lore
While the Miner's Guild pays Dunemen a cut of the earnings after a successful spice haul, they also charge the labourers for the loan of all equipment, including the harvester and carryall. This means that any unfortunate incidents, like sandworm attacks or sandstorms, that lead to the damage and/or loss of Guild property can lend the workers in massive debt for decades to follow.
Sandflies
The Sandflies are rogue Dune Men who have broken off from the Guild to oppose the Imperium's monarchy and aristocracy. They began by rising up against oppression. However, they are now plagued by indiscriminate terrorism and spice addiction.
Findings
Two dunemen stillsuits were found in Testing Station 2 full of holes and in the presence of a Tleilaxu made satchel with several vials.
Notable members
Notable members include:
- Einar Maia sells Spice Melange and spice infused food and beverages at Harko Village. Two other dunemen appear behind him, in the marketplace booth.

A stillsuit, which bears his name, was promoted by CHOAM, and a small royalty is paid to Villari for each purchase. He can be reached during the Boosting the Signal, Villari's Prize, and Digging Deeper journeys, as part of the Lost Harvest content pack.
- Campos Demari: A former pilot for the guild is now a Spice vendor in Arrakeen and runs a charter service offering ornithopter excursions to the Deep Desert.
- Tripp Yates: carrier crew, pilot - he also accepts contracts from Sandflies
- Rogue Dune Men, who have broken off from the Guild, are known as Sandflies
Deployments
Mithra's Crew

You can access the Mithra, as part of the Lost Harvest content pack.
Several crew members of the Mithra Harvester survived and have issued a distress call to the Guild. The crew is willing to accept help from the player to get back on their feet, by issuing contracts. These members are:
- Chief Hanso: Rig chief of the Mithra
- Lieutenant Drangh: Officer of The Mithra
- Nasher Hix: Quartermaster of The Mithra
- Several unnamed Dunemen, including Cass, likely the remaining drivers and Spice Crew, including those rescued by the player
- Commander Lazarus (deceased) and four other names, which are unknown to Chief Hanso
- Captain Malek (unaccounted for): The parachute-guided Carryall transporting the harvester alongside Captain Malek are not present, and it isn't found among the shipwrecks in Hagga Basin or the overland map.
