Scavengers

Scavengers

The Scavengers are a hostile group of NPCs that can be found scattered across the southernmost region of Hagga Basin, occupying Camps and Caves alike.

Lore

Scavengers are not Imperial subjects. Newly arriving nobles are encouraged to slaughter them for practice and to keep the local population in check.

Scavengers that steal from other scavengers are known as the Kirab, a separate hostile group.

Notable members

Notable members include:

• Aren: Aren was disgraced a Kirab warlord who fled south to live amongst the scavengers. He planed to lead an army of scavengers north to take vengeance on his old comrades. The player faces this warlord, known as Aren the Exile, in the the Neo Carthag Arena beside Harko Village, during the Secrets of the Exil journey.

• Brute the Scrapper: Arena boss as part of the The Art of Kanly journey.

• The Hollower Clan: An inbred family of scavengers who inhabit the Hollow Arches of Southern Hagga Basin, which invented a stillsuit - though rumor persists that it was a gift from Fremen that they hid during the Sardaukar pogrom.

• Sim: Former miner, who joined the Scavengers when the mining facilities were abandoned in the Vermillius Gap. Sim 'borrowed' a cutteray from the ironworks, discovering too late that it was tuned for increased Granite, Copper and Salvage yields and only had basic Iron yields. 'Oh the iron-y' Sim was heard to exclaim.
