House Varota is a House Major, and one of the 25 voting Houses within the Landsraad.
It is part of the Cartel of Gaiety, a bloc of the Landsraad focused on Exploration.
As a result, corresponding Landsraad Missions may be completed on the House's behalf. Doing so increases a player's personal standing with the House, unlocking tiered rewards independent of the weekly Landsraad vote outcome.

Our founder, Francesco Varota raised us from humble instrument makers to a Minor House under Padishah Emperor Almerach III. We arrested the Siridar-Earldom of Chusuk from House Mandervotd in the ninth millennium. We seize the day. We charm destiny itself!
