Lore
Ilyich Hannivar was born on Lakiveil. He was formerly a whale boat captain who gained fame by capturing a fearsome bjondax whale, Krazinok, which had laid waste to thirty boats before Hannivar captured it.
In reward, Ilyich Hannivar was granted a bar in Harko Village which he named after himself. The bones of Krazinok are suspended above the main beer hall in the bar as a trophy and to serve as centerpiece. Hannivar's has since handed the ownership of the bar to his daughter Anoushka Hannivar.

(First Meeting) Ilyich Hannivar: Look alive, sailor! The storm is almost upon us, and I swore to milady on bent knee that I would return our beloved Count in one piece! But red sky in morning, then strike the sails! There's a blow coming, and the beast won't stop its frenzied pace. We’ve pierced it again and again, but it will not stop! Perhaps the storm will slow it.

Who are you again?

Lore
A native of Lankiveil, a cold, maritime Harkonnen-controlled planet renowned for its most famous export — the magnificent and priceless furs of the great Bjondax whale — Ilyich Hannivar pursued a career as a whale-boat captain in his younger days. The subdistrict’s governor, Count Abulurd Rabban né Harkonnen, would often sail with him on whaling expeditions.
It came to pass that the whaling industry, the lifeblood and mainstay of the planet’s economy, was threatened by the violent depredations of an especially fearsome beast, a whale known as Krazinok. More than thirty boats had been sunk prior to Ilyich’s intervention.
Eleven men were lost in the eight-day running battle that finally ended the monster’s reign of terror. In appreciation, Count Abulard presented Ilyich with a beer hall located in Harko Village (formerly Korona Village) on Arrakis. The infamous Krazinok’s skeleton yet hangs there, suspended as its centerpiece in commemoration of that heroic event.
Ilyich named the bar Hannivar’s, and — though its daily operation has gradually passed to his devoted daughter Annoushka as he’s advanced in years and declined in mental acuity — in its backrooms he might to this day be found.
