Dialogue

Ghavouri: Look at the way you stand. No discipline. No confidence. I've killed a thousand like you on the battlefield.
Player: 1. [HONORABLE] I salute you, sir. You may test that assumption at your convenience. 2. [NOBILITY] I do not recall giving you leave to speak to me in familiar tones, peasant. 3. I would definitely benefit from some of that hard won experience. 4. And who the hell are you to talk to me that way, old man?
Ghavouri: [1] A little old world honor and chivalry? I respect that. It might not make the difference of you surviving a war-torn battlefield, but I respect that. [2] One good kick would empty that genteel head of its smugness and teeth. Privilege has made you as soft as an overripe fruit. [3] Well. A little respect with some good sense in the proportion. There's something here I can work with... [4] I could write my resume on your filthy hide with knives and artillery, but then there would be little of you left to work with.
Ghavouri: But don't despair. Salvation is at hand. I can show you how to fight. I can teach you how to kill. And it will only cost you a little pain.

Ghavouri: Back again. Like the sour tang of rancid wine.
Player:

1. I want to learn from you.
Ghavouri: Then listen closely. During the battle of Arrakeen, I was drugged and kept out of it by a group of conspirators. For the sake of my honor, I have spent the last eight years tracking down and destroying them, one by one. Who knows how the Battle of Arrakeen would have turned out if I hadn't been kept away. And now, I have reason to believe the conspirators are nearby. Track them down. Kill them. My thirst for vengeance has been slaked by a thousand flasks of cheap beer - but it is still my price for training.
Player:

1. (Accept contract) I will deal with them.
Ghavouri: Do this for me, and I'll set your feet on the path of the trooper.
Player: Goodbye.

2. I'm not particularly interested.
Ghavouri: Return when you've found your spine.
Player: Goodbye.

2. Tell me about yourself.
Ghavouri: I am Ghavouri. Veteran trooper, freelance adventurer, and slayer of cheap vintages everywhere. And I'll train you to be just like me--for the right price. Which just happens to be whatever's in your pocket right now.
Player:

1. Do you serve the Atreides or Harkonnen?
Ghavouri: As I said before, I'm currently freelance. Great House feuds don't interest me. I get paid to fight, and not to die.
Player: Then what are you doing here?
Ghavouri: These days I tend to shy away from conflict of an intergalactic nature. But if you need to stab or shoot someone in the near vicinity? I'm your man.

2. I want to learn from you. (Same dialogue as above.)

3. Let's talk about something else.
Ghavouri: Mhmm.

3. What can you tell me about the area?
Ghavouri: Not much to tell. This here's scavenger country. The lowest of the low. Honestly, I think there are some city maula that live better.
Player: What do the scavengers do?
Ghavouri: I don't know. Scavenge? Is that a word? I think they mostly hide from the Kirab.
Player: Who are the Kirab?
Ghavouri: Bandit scum. Thieves who prey on their own kind. I suppose it's easier to rob and kill your fellow scrap-digger than put in a hard day's work.
Player: Where are the Kirab?
Ghavouri: Just up-country from here. The Vermillius Gap is Kirab territory. You'll know you've gone too far when the sand turns blood red.

4. Goodbye.
